The Worst Is Yet To Come

Sander Helmers

Sander Helmers is an artist/songwriter from Bergen. He has always been deeply passionate about music, especially in conveying it to an audience. From a young age, he discovered his love for music and theater. He has participated in numerous performances at the local theater in Fyllingsdalen, Bergen, as well as at The National Theatre.

At the age of 16, he joined the band The Main Level. During his time with the band, Sander played at major festivals including VG-lista and V-festival. The band also had several hits, with “Bombadilla” and “My Girl” being the most notable tracks.

Since the band’s dissolution in 2019, Sander has been working on developing his own sound. Sander is now ready to showcase the new direction of his musical journey to the world. He plays both guitar and piano and has co-produced all of his songs. Drawing inspiration from artists like The Beatles, David Bowie, Labrinth, and Robbie Williams, Sander Helmers has carved out his own artistic vision.

With much to share, he is now launching his solo project “The Worst Is Yet To Come”. Through his lyrics, Sander aims to address concerns about making life choices and the importance of being aware of distractions in our hectic daily lives. He draws inspiration from “everyday life” and hopes people can relate to his words.
